Understanding Open Innovation Strategy – A Guide
Understanding Open Innovation Strategy - A Guide
I am João Félix, currently pursuing an industrial PhD at UPT – Portucalense University, with a professional background that bridges Information Technology and Marketing.
Researcher at REMIT – Research on Economics, Management and Information Technologies.
For my PhD thesis, I am exploring hyper-personalization and its application in the Portuguese wine sector. I co-authored an article, “Hyper-Personalization in the Wine Industry: A Scoping Review,” which examines the challenges and potential of applying hyper-personalization strategies to this industry. The study highlights the significant changes in the sector due to online retailing and suggests that small producers and distributors can achieve economic sustainability through hyper-personalization. I am conducting an in-depth analysis of hyper-personalization focusing on producers with online stores.
During my Master’s in Marketing, I authored a book titled “From Outbound Into Inbound: A Marketing Paradigm Shift.” This work delves into the transformative impact of the internet on consumer behaviour, urging marketers to embrace Inbound Marketing to stay competitive. It provides detailed methods and tools for enhancing online visibility and emphasizes the critical digital skills necessary for managing web presence and optimizing marketing efforts.
I completed my Bachelor’s in Marketing Management from Instituto Universitário da Maia in June 2015. The program provided comprehensive marketing and business management training, emphasizing strategic market orientation, international marketing, brand management, and digital marketing. This rigorous curriculum equipped me with essential skills for excelling in dynamic marketing.
